At this point, Lisa Vanderpump is reality TV royalty, and we’ve been thrilled to create the open for each season of Bravo’s hit show Vanderpump Rules. With no sign of stopping, our show open continues to serve as a creative centerpiece for this salacious show. In fact, this concept turned out to be iconic enough it was flawlessly parodied by Seth Rogen. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, right?

Our original concept was to showcase the SUR staff in their natural habitat, serving up cocktails with a side of smoldering glances. To up the drama, we slowed things way down using a Phantom camera, bringing Sur’s extravagant ambiance front and center.
The season one open was such a hit, we were able to build on it with subsequent seasons, highlighting new characters in sexy, over-the-top vignettes. From storyboards to on-set direction, we’ve had a blast working with Evolution Media, Bravo and the entire Sur staff over the years.
